Barcelona - Day Two - February 24, 2008

Today I slept in and enjoyed some doughnuts for breakfast.

After leaving the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to pass the Sardana dance in front of the Cathedral. The Sardana dance, the patriotic dance, representing Catalan unity.

I then followed the road to the cathedral to the City History Museum. The museum includes a walk through roman of the city.

A wonderful lunch at KFC was followed by Sagrada Famila. It is a church design by Gaudi and started in 1883. Workmen are still working on the church today. Southern Baptist thought they coined the phrase....forever we build! They predict it will take another 50 years to build.

Dinner and returning to the hotel were top priorities.
